At the age of 16, Tejas stumbled upon the dynamic world of stock markets, sparking a fervent interest in trading, investing, and decoding the inside world of finance. At an early age he delved into active trading, swiftly recognising the shortcomings within India's conventional brokerage services. Motivated by this realisation, he set out to transform the trading and investing landscape in India.

In 2015, Tejas founded FYERS, a technology-driven brokerage firm that has since garnered a customer base of over ~1 million clients as of October 2023. Drawing from his diverse experiences working in both domestic and international firms, Tejas successfully bootstrapped FYERS into a debt-free, profitable company, with a net worth exceeding ~ 300 Cr, and a workforce comprising 300+ adept capital market professionals in a short period.

Tejas holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in finance. His leadership extends to being a governing member of the BSE Brokers Forum (BBF), Vice-Chairman of the Commodity Participants Association of India (CPAI) and member of various committees at various Indian exchanges such as NSE & MCX.

Recognised for his entrepreneurial prowess, Tejas has been featured in the “35 under 35” Entrepreneur India Awards. FYERS, under his leadership, has earned numerous accolades, including the title of “Bootstrapped Start-up of the Year” in the 2021 Entrepreneur Awards. Additionally, the company has been honoured as the “Leading Broker in Energy Markets” at the 2022 MCX awards and nominated for the coveted Bootstrapped Start-up of the Year in the 2023 ET Start-up Awards. Tejas is a regular contributor for various media publications such as Forbes, Business World, Economic Times, CNBC TV18, Moneycontrol etc.
